<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive auxiliary electrode for plating an inner surface of a long object which can be easily inserted in a bent filler pipe, and can suitably plate an inner surface of the filler pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary electrode 10 is used by being inserted in an inside of the filler pipe 20 in electroplating the filler pipe 20. The auxiliary electrode 10 includes an auxiliary anode 11 formed of a linear flexible conductor, and an auxiliary electrode spacer 12. The auxiliary electrode spacer 12 is formed in a long shape and includes a nonconductive spherical or oval spherical spacer spherical part 13 and a flexible spacer connection part 14 for connecting a plurality of spacer spherical parts 13 in a string shape. A plurality of auxiliary electrode spacers 12 are wound around the auxiliary anode 11 at a density such that the auxiliary anode 11 is not in contact with the inner surface of the filler pipe 20 and the spacer spherical parts 13 do not overlap with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
