<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof window in which a user normally can see inside from outside through a see-through window with a window frame using an inexpensive non-heat-resistant glass plate while the see-through window is shielded by a metal shielding plate to be fallen in case of a fire, thereby significantly reducing manufacturing cost and allowing it to be installed even without enough installation space. <P>SOLUTION: Two non-heat-resistant glass plates 7, 7 are installed at an interval in a window frame 5 of a see-through window 4 provided in a door 1. A shielding plate storage part 10 is provided in an upper part of a clearance 8 of the see-through window 4 between the non-heat-resistant glass plates 7, 7 so as to communicate with the clearance 8. A guide rail 11 is vertically installed on both right and left sides of the shielding plate storage part 10 and the clearance 8 of the see-through window 4. A metal shielding plate 13 is guided by the guide rail 11 in the shielding plate storage part 10 and is then supported by a temperature fuse 15. When a fire occurs and a temperature rises, the temperature fuse 15 is melted and the shielding plate 13 in the shielding plate storage part 10 falls by being guided by the guide rail 11 so as to shield the see-through window 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
