METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING MULTIMEDIA INFORMATION AND TERMINAL THEREOF

A method for transmitting and receiving multimedia information and a terminal thereof are provided in the present invention. The transmission method includes: dividing the multimedia information to be transmitted into multiple information sections; assembling multiple information sections to obtain multiple messages, within, each information section among the multiple information sections includes the location identifier of the information section in the multimedia information to be transmitted, and the length of each message among the multiple messages is less than or equal to the predetermined length, and each message includes at least one information section; transmitting the partial or the whole multiple messages to a receiver. With the present invention, the fuller message could be acquired, the multimedia information could be transmitted by the fewer messages, the cost of user could be reduced, and the burden of network could be decreased.
