<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost kit for injecting liquid into a patient, but which nevertheless allows high flow rate injection of liquid to be carried out in a patient, while guaranteeing the safety of the patient. <P>SOLUTION: This kit includes an injection device (14) comprising a needle (36) having a free end (48) pricked into a septum (144) of an implantable chamber (18) and an intermediate tubing (38) connected downstream to the needle (36). The kit includes an upstream conduit (13) having an upstream end (30A) connected to a liquid dispensing apparatus (12) and a downstream end (32A)removably connected to the intermediate tubing (38). The pressure loss through the upstream conduit (13) is greater than 25% of the total pressure loss taken between the upstream end (30A) of the upstream conduit (13) and the free end (48) of the needle (36), upon injecting liquid through the upstream conduit (13) and the injection device (14). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
