<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear mount brake device to reduce air resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The brake device is provided in the rear of a front fork 6. The cross section of a brake clamp 6 is gradually tapered in a direction of separating from the direction of the front fork, and the cross section of the front fork is gradually tapered in a direction of a proximate brake clamp 2. In addition, the vertical direction of the rear of the front fork is gradually tapered in a direction of separating from a place where connection parts 21, 22 of the brake clamp are connected.
