<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing device with a strong configuration that prevents a packing material from being collapsed and protects a package, even if the package is dropped due to handling thereof, and also which reduces the number of parts and has a superior assembly property. <P>SOLUTION: The packing device is configured to pack the package by arranging the packing material, which is formed by continuously connecting sidewalls at all sides of a bottom surface with a rectangular shape, on the top and bottom of the package, respectively. The packing material includes the sidewalls each having a side plate with double or triple structure, and forms a retaining piece at an end of an outer side plate of at least one sidewall and a reinforcing piece at an end of an inner side plate. The retaining piece is sandwiched between the side plates of two adjacent sidewalls, and also the reinforcing piece is arranged oppositely to the package at the corner formed between the adjacent sidewalls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
