<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighter which can improve the safety so that an infant etc. does not ignite by mistake and does not make works for normal time complex more than necessary by providing a desired locking structure with an comparatively simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The lighter includes: a fuel tank filled with fuel; a fuel delivery device which is provided in the fuel tank and discharges the fuel out of the fuel tank; an ignition device which is provided adjacent to the fuel delivery device and ignites the fuel discharged out of the fuel tank; an operating member which operates at least either of the fuel delivery device and the ignition device; and a lock member which is provided near the operating member to be operable by pressing, is usually in a condition that restricts movement of the operating member, and moves by pressing operation and releases a movement restriction of the operating member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
