<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush excellent in plaque removing capability between teeth and capable of attaining good touching feeling. <P>SOLUTION: The toothbrush is characterized in that a plurality of first bristle planting holes with the inner diameter of 0.8 to 1.4 mm and a plurality of second bristle planting holes with the inner diameter larger than that of the first planting holes are individually formed in a head part, the plurality of first bristle planting holes are formed so as to make two or more of general V shapes in the head part, the total of the opening area of the plurality of first bristle planting holes making the general V shapes is not less than 15% of the total opening area of the first bristle planting holes and the second bristle planting holes, the depth of the valley of the V shape is 1.5 times or more of the inner diameter of the first bristle planting holes making the V shape in the one general V shape, the width of the one general V shape is 75% or more of the bristle planting width defined by the outermost fringes of the second bristle planting holes present at the outermost fringe part side in both the ends in a width direction of the head part, the brush length of the bristle bundles planted in the first bristle planting holes is longer than the brush length of the bristle bundles planted in the second bristle planting holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
