<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for vehicle that reduces power consumption in adjusting a temperature of conditioned air by use of waste heat of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner 15 for vehicle includes a hot water heat absorption path 45 branched from a heat pump circulation path 21, a hot water heat absorption device 47 to which cooling water storing the heat of the engine 11 is guided, and a refrigerant pump 46 for feeding the refrigerant to the hot water heat absorption device 47. The refrigerant is fed to the hot water heat absorption device 47 by the refrigerant pump 46. The heat is exchanged between the fed refrigerant and the cooling water storing the heat of the engine 11.
