<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor and a gas detection method capable of detecting a dialkyl phthalate in a gas by a convenient way. <P>SOLUTION: A dialkyl phthalate in a gas is detected by using a gas sensor comprising a collection column 1 filled with mesoporous silica, a heating apparatus 2 for heating the collection column 1, a sensor element 4 in which a silica mask having predetermined pores is formed on a surface of a metal oxide mainly composed of SnO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, a detector 5 for measuring an electric resistance value of the sensor 4 and air distribution means which distributes the air collected from a space to be measured to the collection column 1 as a sample gas and distributes the same gas to the collection column 1 and the sensor element 4 as a gas for desorption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
