<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage between a pipe joint and a gate valve and to improve an operation of a gate valve. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint is configured as follows: a first joint 3 and a second joint 4, which interpose an existing pipe 1, are each provided with a mounting part 6 of a holding bolt device 5 for bringing the first joint 3 and the second joint 4 close to each other in the lateral sides with respective to the existing pipe 1; the first joint 3 is provided with an aperture 7, which communicates with a work port of the pipe 1; a flange part 8 is formed in a periphery of the aperture 7; a communication port 11 of a gate vale 10 having a shutter 9 is adapted to be contact under pressure with the flange part 8 via a seal ring 12; the gate valve 10 is provided with an insertion part 14 for a pressing bolt 13 that presses the communication port 11 to the flange part 8; the holding bolt device 5 is provided with a connecting part 15 for the pressing bolt 13; and a gate valve receptacle seat 23 that receives and supports the pressing bolt 13 near the insertion part 14 of the gate valve 10 is integrally extended from the flange part 8 to the mounting part 6 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
