A method for controlling wireless communication terminals based on positional area is disclosed, the method includes: its own current positional information is obtained by a wireless communication terminal(101); the service function needs to be limited is turned off by using a service function control table according to the obtained positional information, the positional information and the closed service function are saved(102); the positional information is obtained once again by the wireless communication terminal, the limitation-released service function is turned on or the limited service function is turned off according to the positional information obtained once again, the saved positional information, and/or the closed service function; a device for controlling wireless communication terminals based on positional area is also disclosed, by the method and device, it can be realized that all the service functions of the wireless communication terminal can be controlled on the terminal side, so as to control the wireless communication terminal with more flexibility and more pertinence.
