<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve or optimize the delivery of a contrast medium in relation to the modeling of the propagation of the contrast medium within a patient used in image procedure. <P>SOLUTION: This method for controlling the injection of the contrast medium in the patient using an injector in medical imaging procedure using an imaging scanner includes a process for determining at least one mathematical model to estimate the time intensifying reaction produced from the injection result of the contrast medium, a process for roughly estimating the time intensifying reaction of the patient by determining an injection protocol to determine the restricted input resolution to the mathematical model and a process for forming the image of a target region by controlling the injector during the medical imaging procedure using the injection protocol to control the injection of the contrast medium in the patient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
