<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit antitheft device which can improve crime prevention performance against battery unit theft. <P>SOLUTION: A cable disconnection watching section 35 watches presence or absence of disconnection of a charging cable 20 connected to an inlet 26 in a locked state. When it is confirmed that a charging voltage under the locking becomes a threshold value or less, the cable disconnection watching section 35 recognizes that the charging cable 20 is disconnected. In this case, a restriction imposing section 36 writes theft information to a memory 37 of a battery ECU5.
