<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting signaling information with a reduced transmission delay in a cellular communication system. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method that comprises: generating base station based scheduling assistance data relating to packet data communication of a mobile terminal; selecting between a first physical resource and a second physical resource in response to resource availability of the first physical resource and the second physical resource; processing the scheduling assistance data as a first channel; processing other data as a second channel; transmitting the first channel and second channel as multiplexed channels on the first physical resource if the first physical resource is selected; and transmitting the scheduling assistance data using the second physical resource if the second physical resource is selected, wherein the second channel employs a retransmission scheme and the first channel does not employ the retransmission scheme. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
