SEALING CONSTRUCTION IN LIQUID PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid pump for preventing a liquid in a liquid section from leaking to an atmospheric region.

SOLUTION: A fan 28 is secured in an area of a rotation shaft 13 between a mechanical seal 20 and a bearing 14. The fan 28 comprises a ring 281 fastened to the rotation shaft 13 and a plurality of blades 282 connected to an outer surface of the ring 281. The fan 28 is closer to the mechanical seal 20 than to an air-hole 121. The rotation shaft 13 rotates in a direction of an arrow R around a rotation shaft line 131 of the rotation shaft 13 and the fan 28 rotates integrally with the rotation shaft 13. The fan 28 generates wind toward the mechanical seal 20 by intake of the atmosphere from the air-hole 121 accompanying the rotation of the rotation shaft 13.
