<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube expander which can perform the whirl-stop and the diameter expansion of a tube member to be expanded by one unit. <P>SOLUTION: This tube expander 1 includes an expander frame 30, which holds a roller 20 and is inserted rotatably into a tube TU (the tube member to be expanded), a mandrel 40, which is inserted in the expander frame 30 and in which a taper part 41 with a diameter smaller at its tip is formed, and a whirl-stopping mechanism 50 for the tube TU. The whirl-stopping mechanism 50 is equipped with a collar member 51, in which the tube TU is inserted, and a jaw 52, which is arranged inside the collar member 51 and which advances, being interlocked with a mandrel 40, and a taper part 51b with a diameter smaller at its tip is formed at the inner circumferential face of the collar member 51. The jaw 52 is pushed out inward in the radial direction by the taper part 41 of the collar member 51 by advancing the mandrel 40, and also each roller 20 is pushed out in the radial direction of each roller 20 by the taper part 41 of the mandrel 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
