<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolation device for a crane exactly exhibiting seismic isolation performance to a seismic wave including a long period earthquake motion component, the seismic isolation device being mounted on a traveling crane including a crane body and a travelling device equipped with wheels for traveling the crane body along rails. <P>SOLUTION: The seismic isolation device 20A for a crane includes a floating device 21A (a hydraulic cylinder and a pressing member 25) attached to the travelling device 12, and a decking hung by wires from the travelling device 12. When earthquake is detected, a rod of the hydraulic cylinder 22 is extended, the wires are cut and the decking is removed from the travelling device 12 down to a ground surface, while an upper face of the decking is pressed by the pressing member 25, and thus a whole of the traveling crane is floated from the rails, and in this state, slipping (sliding) is produced between the pressing member 25 and an upper face of the decking according to the earthquake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
