Disclosed is a coordinate determination device which automatically recognizes a coordinate mode which is easier to use for a user while natural operations are being performed by the user and performs switching of a coordinate mode. The coordinate determination device (200) is provided with an acquisition store unit (204) for acquiring coordinate information from a coordinate input device (201) and storing the coordinate information onto a recording medium; a time correlation identification unit (320) for identifying a correlation between input times which are indicated by first and second coordinate information among a plurality of coordinate information stored upon the storage medium; a coordinate correlation identification unit (324) for identifying a correlation between input coordinates which are indicated by third coordinate information and second coordinate information among the plurality of coordinate information; a coordinate mode selection unit (326) for selecting a coordinate mode on the basis of a coordinate correlation value and a time correlation value; and a coordinate conversion unit (328) for converting input coordinates indicated by the second coordinate information into coordinates corresponding to the coordinate mode selected by the coordinate mode selection unit (326).
