Disclosed is a planting container which easily keeps beauty by guiding a drain discharged from the planting container to a predetermined place. Specifically disclosed is a planting container which is provided with: a planting container body (1) in which a water storage section(5) capable of storing a planting water is formed of a bottom section and side wall sections (E) rising from the circumference of the bottom section, and a water outlet (2B) for allowing the planting water stored in the water storage section to overflow to the outside is formed in a part of the side wall sections (E); and a side wall cover (54) with which at least one of the side wall sections (E) is covered from the outside. The side wall cover (54) is provided, along the circumference of the side wall section, with: a fixation section (42) to be mounted to the side wall section; a gutter section which receives the planting water having overflowed from the water outlet and discharges the same to the outside of the planting container; and a cover section (43) which opposes the opening section (40A) of the gutter section from above while connecting the fixation section with the gutter section (40).
