<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive pulley mounting structure enhancing the degree of freedom in engine mounting by easing restrictions of tension applied to a belt and restrictions of a position where the belt is wound. <P>SOLUTION: In this drive pulley mounting structure 40, the fitting hole 71a of a drive pulley 41 is tapered-fitted to the lower end 45a of a crankshaft 45, and the drive pulley is fastened to the lower end of the crankshaft by a fastening bolt 61. Also, the inner ring 62a of a pulley bearing 62 is coaxially pressure-fitted to the drive pulley, thereby the inner ring is integrated with the drive pulley.
