<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cavity ship device that forms an air cavity at the bottom of a ship, thereby decreasing a frictional resistance with water. <P>SOLUTION: The air cavity ship device is provided for forming the air cavity at the bottom of the ship, and for decreasing the frictional resistance with water. The air cavity ship device includes: a lateral partition member 120 extending in the width direction along a bottom of a ship; an operation unit 123 for vertically operating the lateral partition member; and a hinge unit 121, located at the bow-side end of the lateral partition member, for rotatably supporting the lateral partition member within a prescribed angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
