<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical device that detects a deviation of web of a rolled material on real time, and to control a deviating amount of the center of web precisely, during rolling of the shaped steel through a universal mill. <P>SOLUTION: The shaped steel material with a flange and web is rolled through the universal mill comprising a pair of top and bottom horizontal rollers and a pair of right and left vertical rollers. Web deviation measuring devices are arranged on the pair of top and bottom horizontal rollers respectively to measure a distance to the shaped steel material. Each of the web deviation measuring device measures the distance from a flange edge face to the web deviation measuring device inside the universal mill. Based on the measured distance between the flange edge face and the web deviation measuring device, the deviating amount of the web is calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
