<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building comprising an open ceiling space and a stair, in which discomfort due to air flowing down from an upper floor to a lower floor can be eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: In a building comprising an upper floor, a lower floor, and an open ceiling space communicating between the upper floor and the lower floor, a spandrel wall is erected between the open ceiling space and the upper floor, a part of the spandrel wall is cut off to form an opening, and the stair is opened to the open ceiling space over the opening and the lower floor located below the open ceiling space. In the opening connected with the top of the stair, a rectification body is provided in an openable/closable manner for restricting air flowing down from the upper floor to the lower floor through the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
