<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform both digital watermark embedding processing and original image restoration processing by using a single algorithm. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for video signal processing includes a video input means 11 to receive a video signal in which a digital watermark is going to be embedded or a digital watermark is embedded; a pattern data storage means 12 to output pattern data including pattern shape information and watermark positional information of a watermark image to be embedded or embedded in the video signal; and a logical operation means 13. The logical operation means 13 receives the video signal output from the video input means and the pattern data output from the pattern data storage means; performs logical operation processing on a pixel region defined by the pattern data within the input video signal; and converts the input video signal into a video signal in which the digital watermark in the pattern shape defined by the pattern data is embedded, or converts the video signal in which the digital watermark is embedded into the original video signal before the digital watermark is embedded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
