<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent waste of energy while improving performance of an electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicle 10 includes: a vehicle body 12; a drive wheel 32 provided to the vehicle body 12; a motor 38 applying torque to the drive wheel 32; a battery holder 50 which a plurality of battery packs 100 can be attached to or detached from; and a circuit unit 70 supplying electric power to the motor 38 from the battery pack 100.
