<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multibranched polymer and a method for producing the same by polymerization of anhydrofuranose having a furanose ring and analogs thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The multibranched polymer and the method for producing the same are provided. The multibranched polymer comprises: a polymer of at least one compound represented by general formula (1), wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>may be the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, or a 1-30C hydrocarbon group or hydrocarbon-O- group, wherein at least one of R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>is a hydroxy group; or a copolymer of the compound represented by general formula (1) and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of the compounds represented by general formula (2) to (10) (not shown in here). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
