<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently introducing foreign genes into bird primordial germ cells as a method for creating transgenic birds to establish a stable expression strain. <P>SOLUTION: The method for introducing genes into bird primordial germ cells includes following steps 1 and 2: (1) a step of fractionating primordial germ cells derived from birds by a density gradient centrifugation method using a culture medium and sol as a density gradient liquid; and (2) a step of collecting the cells fractionated in the step 1 and introducing genes into the cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
