<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flat spot resisting performance of a tire while maintaining steering stability. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a first bead filler which is disposed on each of outer peripheries in the radial direction of the tire of a pair of bead cores, and a second bead filler which is disposed on the width-direction inside of the tire with respect to a carcass layer in an area ranging from a bead to a side wall. The carcass layer is sandwiched between the first and second bead fillers. A tip at the radial outside of the tire, of the second bead filler is positioned at the radial outside of the tire with respect to a tip at the radial outside of the tire of the first bead filler. An overlap area in which the first and second bead fillers overlap each other in the radial direction of the tire is provided. In the overlap area, the tire-width-direction length of the first bead filler in a region maximizing the width-direction length of the tire is shorter than that of the second bead filler, and the volume of the second bead filler is smaller than that of the first bead filler. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
