<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a defect that a lump of dust is caught inside of a container body, and dust does not fall when throwing away the dust, and a defect that ventilation loss is large since air flow is bent. <P>SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner has a cleaner body 1 which has a built-in electric blower and a dust collection case 5 prepared detachably in the cleaner body 1. The dust collection case 5 includes a dust collecting container 20 as a dust storage part, and this dust collecting container 20 is formed in circular arc.
