<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method by which a fried sweet stuff having palate feeling lighter than that of conventional ones can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: First, a batter layer 21 is formed by applying batter 2 whose viscosity is 1.1 times or more and 15 times or less of that of water on the surface of a rice cracker shape matter 1. Next, bread crumb 4 of 10 mesh or more and 40 mesh or less is applied to the surface of the rice cracker shape matter 1 via the batter layer 21.
