SLIDE DEVICE FOR VEHICULAR SEAT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately move a seat body forward/backward when a vehicle collides with a preceding vehicle with a simple structure without increasing rigidity of a lower rail.

SOLUTION: A slide device for vehicular seat includes: an upper rail 21 that is long in the front-rear direction and fixedly installed on the bottom surface of a seat body 2; a lower rail 22 that is arranged on a floor 5 side of a vehicle body for slidably holding the upper rail 21 in the front-rear direction; a bracket 41 fixed at the front of the upper rail 21 and moving downward along with the upper rail 21 when the upper rail 21 moves tilting forward; a J hook member 36 fixed to the rear part of the upper rail 21 and moving upward along with the upper rail 21 upon the upward movement of the rear of the upper rail 21; and a reinforcement member 26 on which the bracket 41 abuts upon the downward movement of the bracket 41 to absorb a downward force and on which the J hook member 36 abuts upon the upward movement of the J hook member 36 to absorb an upward force.
