<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general purpose composite microscope free from restriction by an auxiliary unit with a cable to be connected thereto at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A composite microscope 10 mounted with objective lenses 18 and an STM detector 30 connected with a cable 31 together on a revolver 15 comprises a cable holder 43 for holding the cable 31 adjacent to a rotation center axis 15a of the revolver 15. The cable holder 43 prevents, when the revolver 15 is turned, the cable 31 and/or the STM detector 30 from being subject to an undesirable load due to path changes of the floating cable 31 at a low cost while providing a high flexibility thereto without requiring any particular modification on the STM detector 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
