METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TURBOCHARGER CASING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a turbocharger casing capable of improving the efficiency while reducing dispersion of the output data by achieving small machining errors.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the turbocharger casing 1 including a supporting flange 2 coupled with a plate shell 8 in the turbocharger casing 1 while supporting a turbine wheel includes a step of measuring the plate shell 8 after coupling the plate shell 8 with a support flange 2 on a face part 12 in the plate shell 8 forming a space between the turbine wheel and itself, and a step of machining the support flange 2 according to the measured value of the plate shell 8 for adjusting the relative position of the turbine wheel to the support flange 2 and the plate shell 8.
