The method involves attaching multiple magnetizable clamps (6) i.e. over-the-scope (OTSC) clip(RTM: super-elastic Nitinol device) surrounding an aperture (4) at a wall (2) according to introduction of the clamps into the aperture, where the wall surrounds the aperture. The clamps are magnetized by applying a magnetic field. A permanent magnet is introduced into a body and the aperture for magnetizing the clamps. The magnetization of the clamps is accomplished with an external magnet system arranged outside the body, where the clamps are made of magnetizable materials. An independent claim is also included for a method for carrying out a resection of a lesion in a wall of gastrointestinal tract.
