PURPOSE: A web camera service providing method and apparatus thereof are provided to transmit an image which is inputted from a camera to an external device according to the selection of a user. CONSTITUTION: A storing unit(210) stores content. A controlling unit(220) senses connection with an external device. The controlling unit enters a web camera mode. The controlling unit sets up the kinds of images that are transmitted to an external device. A communication unit(230) transmits an image of content to the external device according to the control of the controlling unit.
