<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device capable of protecting its built-in components from static electricity entering from the outside even if a case body 110 is nonconductive. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving device faces a space 210 from which static electricity is entered, comprises a digital substrate 140 on which components for receiving a digital broadcast signal are mounted, and is stored in a nonconductive case body 110, being covered by a nonconductive lid 120.
