<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten TTFF by shortening time till pseudo range generation is started concerning reception of a positioning signal. <P>SOLUTION: A satellite positioning receiver includes front end means for performing front end processing in an RF signal received by an SPS reception antenna; base band processing means for performing signal capturing and tracking processing with respect to a digital signal obtained by the front end processing so as to obtain signal propagation time; and navigation calculation means for performing pseudo distance calculation and positioning calculation, based on the signal propagation time. The base band processing means calculates the signal propagation time by using SPS system time according to a conventional manner concerning a reference satellite with the SPS system time when a signal is transmitted by decoding navigation data first, and then, concerning a satellite other than the reference satellite, calculates the signal propagation time, based on a code phase difference, by obtaining the code phase difference between the satellites and the reference satellite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
