摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an increase in equipment cost is caused by use of a drive motor with excessive performance because a conventional constitution adopts the large-capacity drive motor so that processing efficiency of a metallic band cannot be decreased by setting an upper limit value of a rotational speed of the drive motor as a constant value. <P>SOLUTION: In an carrier speed control device, an upper limit value changing section 120 computes a load (T<SB POS="POST">out</SB>-T<SB POS="POST">in</SB>) of the drive motors 20a and 22a from a difference between the entrance-side and exit-side tension values T<SB POS="POST">in</SB>and T<SB POS="POST">out</SB>of second and third bridle rolls 20 and 22 determined on the basis of processing conditions of a steel plate 6, and changes the upper limit value of the rotational speed of the drive motors 20a and 22a on the basis of the load (T<SB POS="POST">out</SB>-T<SB POS="POST">in</SB>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
