PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conventional analysis by a phylogenetic tree based on homology of a gene sequence can analyze only among genes of the same kind since the analysis is based on the assumption that the evolution speed of molecules of the same kind is constant.
SOLUTION: The inventor found the following natures by analyzing the base composition ratios of gene sets which multiple biological species have, for each gene: firstly, the universal nature of molecules that the ratio of G+T of genes of all living things is approximately 0.5; secondly, the nature of evolution that G+C of genes are various and the variation of distribution of G+C in genes of a eukaryote having higher functions is large; and thirdly, the nature of evolution that the ratio of purine residue (G+A) having a larger molecule size is larger, compared to the ratio of pyrimidine residue (C+T), in genes of an archaebacterium growing in the ultimate environment. On the basis of the knowledge, the inventor completed a new method for classifying biological species based on the sequence information of the gene sets of arbitrary kinds.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
