ANALYSIS METHOD FOR CROSSLINKED STRUCTURE OF CROSSLINKED γ-POLYGLUTAMIC ACID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method for a crosslinked structure of crosslinked γ-polyglutamic acid obtained by γ-irradiation of γ-polyglutamic acid.

SOLUTION: Provided is an analysis method where the ratio of the amount of 2-ketoglutaric acid to the amount of glutamic acid obtained by hydrolysis of crosslinked γ-polyglutamic acid to be analyzed is determined, while the amount of glutamic acid present in a N-terminal of single stranded γ-polyglutamic acid in the crosslinked γ-polyglutamic acid to be analyzed is determined; the amount of the glutamic acid in the crosslinked γ-polyglutamic acid is divided by the amount of the N-terminal glutamic acid to determine the number of glutamic acid unit in the single stranded γ-polyglutamic acid in the crosslinked γ-polyglutamic acid; the number of the 2-ketoglutaric acid present per the single stranded γ-polyglutamic acid in the crosslinked γ-polyglutamic acid is determined by the obtained number of the glutamic acid unit and the ratio of the 2-ketoglutaric acid to the glutamic acid; and the crosslinked structure is analyzed by the obtained number of the 2-ketoglutaric acid.
