<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape of an outdoor fan for promoting heat exchange in an outdoor heat exchanger according to a physical property of the coolant, in an air conditioner using low GWP (global warming potential) coolant as an alternative to R410A. <P>SOLUTION: A propeller fan includes a plurality of thin blades on a cylindrical hub, and a chord length on a circumference side of the blade is longer than that on a hub side. In a cross section in a radial direction of the blade, an approximately 1/3 part from the circumference side of a blade length connecting a hub part of the blade to a circumference part is taken as a curvature point, and a shape of the blade on the circumference side is a straight shape, while a shape on the hub side is a convex shape on a windward side. In a meridian plane of the blade, an approximately 1/3 part from the circumference side of the blade length connecting the hub part with the circumference part is also taken as the curvature point, and the shape of the blade on the circumference side is the straight shape, while the shape on the hub side is a concave shape on the windward side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
