The present invention discloses a method for implementing video sharing. The method includes: a mobile terminal supporting the China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) accesses the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), and after a sharing request from a common mobile terminal which has accessed the WLAN is monitored, authorizes said common mobile terminal and receives the sharing request. The mobile terminal supporting the CMMB sends streaming media data to the common mobile terminal through the WLAN. The invention also provides a system for implementing video sharing and a mobile terminal. According to the technical solution of the invention, sharing the CMMB video contents between several mobile terminals can be implemented.
