WIRE HARNESS PROTECTION STRUCTURE

The disclosed wire harness protection structure is provided with: a bundle of electrical wires; and a protective part formed as a tube that stretches in the long direction of the bundle of electrical wires, with part of the bundle of electrical wires disposed in the space inside said tube. The protective part is formed from a protective material that comprises a base material and a binder that has a lower melting point than the base material. A join part of the protective part is joined by heating and melting and then cooling and solidifying the binder material. Also, the binder material on the inner surface of the protective part (facing the space inside the tube) is heated and melted and then cooled and solidified so as to make said inner surface harder than the outer surface of the protective part.
