<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control unit which causes no water infiltration. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic control unit has a casing accommodating a printed circuit board. The casing has a molded plastic intermediate structure having a frame. Two conductive members are partially embedded in the intermediate structure during the course of molding and are connected to the printed circuit board to form output terminals of the control unit. By means of two corresponding flexible conductors provided with electrically insulating coverings, the control unit is connected to an apparatus to be controlled. Each of the conductors has an end permanently connected to a corresponding one of the conductive members, and connections between the conductors and the conductive members are covered by an electrically insulating material and sealed in a fluid-tight way. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
