<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new DAC configuration used for a source driver of a high-resolution liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a two-step digital/analog converter, and a source driver for a liquid crystal display. The source driver includes the two-steps digital/analog converter, which outputs an analog voltage according to a M-bit digital input code. The source driver includes a 1-bit serial charge redistribution digital/analog converter and a voltage selector. The 1-bit serial charge redistribution digital/analog converter has a high reference voltage input node that can receive high reference voltage and a low reference voltage input node that can receive low reference voltage. The voltage selector sets the high reference voltage and the low reference voltage to a prescribed voltage according to at least a part of the M-bit digital input code. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
