<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural adhesive suppressing lowering of shear strength and peeling strength, not causing increase of viscosity and specific gravity and applicable of electrodeposition coating on the cured surface thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This structural adhesive includes an epoxy resin composed of at least a rubber-modified epoxy resin and a latent curing agent as principal components, and contains an ionic liquid, the content of the ionic liquid is 1-30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the epoxy resin. As the adhesive can bear electrodeposition coatability while suppressing lowering of physical properties to the minimum, and without increasing viscosity and specific gravity, the adhesive excels in corrosion resistance while maintaining close adhesion with adherend members such as a substrate, and providing electrodeposition coatability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
