<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cleaning body which prevents tangled thread-like dust from entering into multiple brush bristles and facilitates removing the thread-like dust. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary cleaning body 30 includes: a rotary shaft 31 formed with insertion grooves 31B and 31D longitudinally extending along the outer periphery; strip-like base materials 41 inserted into and held in the grooves 31B and 31D; and multiple brush bristles 42 fixed to the base materials 41 and projecting radially from the rotary shaft 31.
