<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure detection control device for a vehicle, which appropriately determines presence/absence of an failure of a hydraulic system when the failure temporarily occurs in a hydraulic switch. <P>SOLUTION: The control device determines whether a rotation of a second motor generator MG2 rotated by causing a direct torque generated at the start of an engine 12 can be prevented by the operation of a second brake B2. Because the presence/absence of the failure of a hydraulic control circuit 50 is determined based on the determination result, the failure of the hydraulic control circuit 50 which operates the second brake B2 can be appropriately detected without depending on a signal from the hydraulic switch. Namely, the failure detection control device for the vehicle is provided, which appropriately determines presence/absence of the failure of the hydraulic system when the failure temporarily occurs in the hydraulic switch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
