<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FA configuration designing assistance apparatus which is capable of checking the configuration of a FA system considering versions of the FA system in an FA system assigned by an FA system designer, and when the designer assigns an old version, an alert on unavailable function is given to the designer. <P>SOLUTION: The FA configuration designing assistance apparatus comprises an input section that assigns the configuration of an FA system which is constituted of a combination of plural FA devices; an FA system profile information management section that stores FA system profiles describing constraint conditions of combination among FA systems for each version of the FA system; an FA system configuration management section that manages the information on the configuration of the FA system assigned by the input section; a system combination constraint condition calculation section that extracts combination constraint conditions among the relevant FA systems from the FA system profile information management section based on the information of the FA system configuration stored in the FA system configuration management section; and a calculation result output section that outputs the extraction result extracted by the system combination constraint condition calculation section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
